Anti-Ragging Policy

Ragging is a Punishable Offence, our institute strictly prohibits ragging and can take following action against ragging activist:

1.Suspension from attending classes and academic privileges.
2.Withholding or withdrawing scholarship fellowship and other benefits.
3.Debarring from appearing in a test/examination and other evaluation process.
4.Withholding result(s).
5.Cancellation of admission.
6.Rustication from the institution for a period ranging from 1 to 4(B.Ed.) or 1 to 8 (B.A.B.Ed./B.Sc.B.Ed.) or equivalent period.
7.Expulsion from the institution and consequent debarring from admission to any other institution for a specified period.
8.Fine as passed in the Anti Ragging Committee/ Grievance Redressal Committee.

Note: If the persons committing or abetting the act of ragging can not identified the institution shall resort to collective punishment.

Code of Conduct (Policy Document)

In order to maintain and promote the reputation of the college for academic excellence and integrity, the College Management has framed the code of conduct for:


(a) Management; (b) Principal; (c) Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff; and (d) Students.



Code of conduct for the Management

a) Provide effective academic and administrative leadership to the institution.
b) Decentralization and participative management in institutional practices.
c) Fulfill their lawful duties and obligations towards government with integrity and loyalty.
d) Ensure welfare of students and staff.
e) Strictly follow the strategy of mobilization and optimal use of funds.
f) Respect the rights of staff and students.
g) Maintain financial transparency and delivery.
h) Make utmost efforts to develop the institution in a versatile manner.
i) Keep the interest of the institution above personal.
j) Take responsible action to maintain educational quality.

Code of Conduct for the Principal


• Implement the university/government instructions, rules and regulations in letter and spirit.
• Be fair and professional in your duties.
• Assume responsibility and accountability for his/her performance.
• Maintain good moral character and be a true leader.
• Not make fake records or direct others to do so.
• Don’t use college property or finances for your own benefits.
• Don’t reveal confidential information unless required by law.
• Make concerted efforts to communicate to parents all information which should be revealed in the interest of students.



Teachers' Code of Professional Ethics


• Encourage students to improve their attainments, develop their personalities and, at the same time, contribute to community welfare.
• Seek to make professional growth continuous through study and research.
• Perform their duties in form of teaching tutorial, practical, seminar and research work conscientiously and with dedication.
• Participate in extension, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities including community service.
• Maintain active membership of professional organizations and strive to improve education and the profession through them.
• Co-operate and assist in carrying out functions relating to the educational responsibility of the College such as admission process, counseling to the students as well as assisting the conduct of college and University examinations including supervision, invigilation and evaluation.
• Encourage students to improve their attainment, develop their personalities and, at the same time, contribute to community welfare.
• Respect the right and dignity of the student to express his or her opinion.
• Recognize the difference in aptitude and capabilities among students and strive to meet their individual needs.

Code of conduct for Non-Teaching Staff



Loyal to the college by being punctual and reliable in all duties.
• Maintain integrity by being honest in words and action,
• Treat students with care and kindness.
• Be supportive and cooperative with staff members.
• Refrain from passing any information pertaining to college to any individual or agency. Exercise self-discipline and restraint at all times and deal politely with staff, students, and the general public.
• Must not remain absent from duty without official approval.
• Avoid unethical practices and do not do anything that will tarnish the image of the college.
• Notify the principal if there is any suspect matter found within the campus.
• Non-teaching staff working in the laboratories and library should maintain a stock register in the proper format.



Code of Conduct for Students


• The identity card with a photograph fixed and signed by the principal must be carried by the student while in the campus and must be produced on demand.
• Students should be regular and punctual in attending classes, tutorials, and assignments as per the timetable.
• Students should have a minimum of 75% attendance in the classroom.
• A very high standard of discipline, regularity, and punctuality is expected from the students.
• Students are advised to read all the notices and circulars displayed on the notice board.
• The conduct of the students in the campus of the college as well as in their classes should be satisfactory.
• Use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited in college premises.
• Any kind of ragging within the college campus is strictly prohibited.
• Any student convicted of an offense of ragging shall be dismissed from the college.
• Students must not bring any outsiders into the college premises.
• Students must appear for all the tests and examinations.
• Students must attend national functions and various activities organized by college.
